The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Demaryius Thomas worked out for 10 NFL teams on Sunday at a closed session in Atlanta, marking his first draft audition since breaking his left foot in February while training for the combine.

Thomas, a former Georgia Tech wide receiver, said his foot was 90-percent healthy. He participated in some cone drills on Sunday that weren't timed and ran routes for the scouts. Thomas said he caught every ball thrown to him by Damarius Bilbo, a former Yellow Jackets wide receiver.  Thomas also interviewed with several teams after the workout.

"It felt good," Thomas said. "I'm glad it's over with now."

Thomas caught 46 passes for 1,154 yards and eight touchdowns last season for the Yellow Jackets. At 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds, Thomas has the size and speed (he was timed at 4.38 seconds at an Arizona training camp) that NFL teams covet.

He is projected to be a first-round pick in the NFL draft, which begins on Thursday in New York. He will fly to the Big Apple on Tuesday with his dad, Bobby, uncle James and aunt Shirley, who helped raise him, and a cousin.
