Georgia Tech guard Cord Howard was honored as the ACC's lineman of the week following the Yellow Jackets' 49-44 victory against Florida State on Saturday in Tallahassee.

Howard, a 6-5, 308-pound senior, had 13 knockdowns to help Tech rush for 401 yards and generate 532 yards of offense. Those were the second- and fourth-highest totals in the ACC this season.

Virginia Tech running back Ryan Williams was named the newcomer of the week after rushing for 158 yards on 18 attempts in the Hokies' 48-14 win over Boston College on Saturday.

The Jackets will host the Hokies at 6 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium on Saturday.
