Tech's Jefferson honored by ACC

Georgia Tech linebacker Brad Jefferson was named the ACC's co-defensive lineman of the week for his performance in Saturday's 42-31 win against Mississippi State in Starkville.
Jefferson, a junior from Wrightsville, tied a career high with eight tackles, including seven unassisted. He also forced two fumbles. He is second on Tech with 27 tackles.
Other winners were: Wake Forest QB Riley Skinner (offensive back), Miami tackle Jason Fox (offensive lineman), Virginia defensive end Matt Conrath (co-defensive lineman), Virginia Tech's Cody Grimm (defensvie back), Maryland kicker Nick Ferrara (co-specialist) and Virginia's Robert Randolph (co-specialist), and Maryland outside linebacker Demetrius Hartsfield (rookie).
