The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Georgia Tech freshman Daniel Miller has elected to redshirt this season. Miller, a 6-foot-11, 252-pound center from Loganville, is one of six freshmen on Tech's basketball team this season. With freshman standout Derrick Favors coming in and junior Gani Lawal electing not to go in the NBA draft, Miller likely would have had limited minutes in the post this season.

Freshman forward Kammeon Holsey is also sitting out the season because of a knee injury he suffered in August.
