• The Yellow Jackets (19-9, 7-7) could use 20 wins and a second ACC road win to boost their NCAA tournament resume, after going only 1-6 in ACC road play thus far.

• Forward Derrick Favors has averaged 16.0 points and 10.7 rebounds in Tech's last three games. He scored 17 points against Clemson in one of his best ACC performances on Jan. 19.

• The Tigers have lost their last two meetings with Tech: 66-64 in Atlanta on Jan. 19 and 86-81 in the first round of the ACC tournament last year.

• Clemson has won four of its last five games, including a sweep of Florida State. The Tigers won at FSU Sunday, 53-50, with Andre Young hit the winning 3-point shot with 30 seconds left.
