NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Georgia Tech stayed at No. 11 for the second consecutive week in college football's AP poll.

Oregon jumped over the Yellow Jackets, from 12 to 10, following its 43-19 win against Washington on Saturday.

Georgia Tech (7-1, 5-1) defeated Virginia 34-9 in Charlottesville, Va. on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets are the highest-rated ACC team in the AP poll. Virginia Tech is No. 14, and Miami dropped to 18 following its loss to Clemson.

Florida and Alabama exchanged the Nos. 1 and 2 rankings for the second consecutive week, with the Gators taking over the top spot again.

The BCS ratings will come out later Sunday.

The Yellow Jackets need only to defeat Wake Forest and Duke to play for the ACC championship in Tampa on Dec. 5. Tech will play Vanderbilt in Nashville on Saturday.
