ACC hosts Orange Bowl in new schedule

The ACC will be the host team for the Orange Bowl this year, according to the bowl schedule released by the conference on Friday.
The game will be played on Jan. 5 at 8 p.m. The ACC champion will be the host team, unless it is ranked 1 or 2 in the final BCS standings.
The rest of the ACC's bowl tie-ins:
• GMAC: 7 p.m., Jan. 6
• Gator Bowl: 1 p.m., Jan. 1
• Chick-fil-A: 7:30 p.m., Dec. 31
• Champs Sports: 8 p.m., Dec. 29
• EagleBank: 4:30 p.m., Dec. 29
• Music City: 8:15 p.m., Dec. 27
• Meineke Car Care: 4:30 p.m., Dec. 26
• Emerald: 8 p.m., Dec. 26
