Defensive end Tre Moore committed to Georgia State on Tuesday.

Moore, a rising senior at Strom Thurmond High School in Johnston, SC, announced his commitment on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon writing in part, “Blessed to say I'm (committed) to Georgia State!"

Moore, 6-foot-2, 230 pounds, knew he wanted to commit to Georgia State for a while, but decided to announce his decision on Tuesday, according to the Aiken Standard.

"I just talked about it with my parents and some of the coaches at Georgia State, and I just felt like it it was the right place for me," Moore said, according to Aiken Standard.

Moore, who recorded 71 tackles, seven sacks and a fumble recovery during his junior season at Strom Thurmond, received  offers from Eastern Kentucky, Garner-Webb, Georgia State and Mercer, but Georgia State was the first college to offer a scholarship, according to the Aiken Standard.
