Warnings that Georgia would be headed toward more night football in the near future came true Wednesday when it was announced that two of the Bulldogs’ early ball games would be kicking off under the stars.
Georgia’s Sept. 12th home game against South Carolina has been set for a 7 p.m. kickoff so it can be televised by ESPN2. Either ESPN or ESPN2 will broadcast the Sept. 19th game at Arkansas and that game will kick off at 7:45 p.m.
The Bulldogs’ season opener at Oklahoma State is already slated for a 3:30 p.m. start and will be televised on ABC.
Georgia has a record of 25-24-1 on ESPN and a record of 15-3 on ESPN2, according to Georgia’s sports communication office.
