Georgia (12-0) is off to its best start in school history, and is coming off a three-game sweep of Quinnipiac. They swept series against Arizona in Tucson, Youngstown State and Presbyterian, in addition to a win over Wofford.

Georgia Tech (9-1) is sixth in the poll. The Bulldogs and Jackets will play three times this season: March 25 (at Tech), April 14 (at UGA) and May 12 (Turner Field).

The Bulldogs, who reached the NCAA finals last season, were No. 2 in last week’s poll behind LSU. The Tigers dropped to No. 3 after losing two of three over the weekend to Illinois.
