UGA to host 2010, 2012 tennis championships

The University of Georgia will host the 2010 and 2012 Division I men’s and women’s tennis championships, the NCAA announced on Monday.

Georgia’s Dan Magill complex has hosted the championships 25 times, including 21 for men.

The 2009 championships will be at Texas A&M in May. The 2011 championships will be at Stanford. The 2012 championships will be held May 17-28.

Georgia’s men’s team won last year’s title in Tulsa, Okla.

Both Georgia tennis teams are 5-0. The men’s team is ranked third nationally while the women’s team is sixth.
