Richt: Moreno not limited this week

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Sunday, August 31, 2008

Georgia coach Mark Richt said tailback Knowshon Moreno will not be limited after sitting out most of the second half Saturday with leg cramps… . The officials got the call right when they ruled A.J. Green did not score on his first reception of Saturday’s game. Looking at television replays, numerous Georgia fans though Green had gotten into the end zone on the 36-yard pass from Matthew Stafford. “I don’t think so,” Richt said Sunday. “On the TV copy it might have looked that way but according to the tape I just watched the officials made the right call. At least it seemed like it to me.” … Richt confirmed sophomore tight end Bruce Figgins did not play Saturday as punishment for an undisclosed team infraction but that he’ll play this week. “He’s in good standing today. Just a little in-house stuff and we’re good to go. He’s active now,” Richt said.
