University of Georgia basketball player Billy Humphrey was arrested Tuesday morning for drunk driving in Gwinnett County. It was his second arrest on alcohol-related charges since February.
According to Gwinnett County Sheriff records, officers admitted Humphrey into the Gwinnett County jail at 3:32 a.m. on Tuesday for DUI, failure to maintain his lane and purchasing alcohol while underage. Humphrey, who turns 21 on Oct. 12, blew a .02 alcohol test.

Humphrey was released about 11 hours later on a $1,667 bond.
According to Georgia Athletic Association rules, Humphrey faces a 15-game suspension, or half the season, for the second violation.
Georgia head coach Dennis Felton released the following statement on Thursday: "We are in the process of gathering the facts involved from the authorities. Certainly we will have discussions with Billy. Once we have all that information, we will be better equipped to address his situation."
According to spokesman Corporal David P. Schiralli, the police incident report is awaiting approval for release.
Humphrey, from Dacula, was arrested in February after leaving a nightclub in downtown Athens and stepping out in front of an Athens-Clarke County police car while crossing a street against the light. After blowing .03 on a portable breathalyzer, Humphrey was charged with underage possession of alcohol and disobeying a traffic-control device. He was suspended for three games after the incident.
In November, he was placed on probation for 18 months and entered into a pretrial diversion program as a result of a Nov. 13 felony weapons charge for having a butterfly knife in his dorm room. He was suspended for one game and placed on probation for one year by UGA's Office of Judicial Programs.
Humphrey, a 6-foot-2 guard, was the second-leading scorer for the Bulldogs last season. He was part of the SEC tournament title run that earned the Bulldogs a berth in the NCAA tournament.
