The Thrashers signed two players on Thursday, keeping restricted free agent forward Brett Sterling with a multi-year deal and agreeing to terms with unrestricted free agent forward Marty Reasoner.
Sterling, 24, appeared in 13 games over two stints with the Thrashers last season. He had a goal and two assists. The 5-foot-7, 180-pound right wing also had 70 points (38 goals, 32 assists) in 70 regular-season games with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL last season.

Reasoner, 31, has appeared in 465 career games over nine NHL seasons with Edmonton, Boston and St. Louis. He has career totals of 176 points, 64 goals and 112 assists. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound center played in all 82 games for Edmonton last season, his sixth with the team. He had 11 goals and 14 assists.
