Few play as physical a game as Thrashers captain Bobby Holik, but when it comes to fighting, he'll pass. On Thursday against Ottawa, it looked like Ottawa's Chris Neil was ready to go. Holik wasn't.
"I would be awfully busy fighting if I had to deal with all those guys," Holik said. "There was a time when there would be like 600 players who wanted to fight me. You can't fight them all."

Holik said fighting wasn't part of his game when he entered the NHL, but he found it necessary as a younger player trying to establish himself in the league. Not anymore.
"I don't feel like it's necessary," he said. "Unless it's absolutely necessary."
Waddel on Bowman
Ilya Kovalchuk compared Don Waddell to legendary coach Scotty Bowman after a Waddell hunch paid off against the Senators on Thursday night. That interested the visiting Montreal media, who asked Waddell about it Saturday morning. Bowman won five Stanley Cups as head coach of the Canadiens.
They asked Waddell what he learned in his time in Detroit with Bowman.
"Certainly, you learn a lot of things from him," Waddell said. "Scotty was always in control ... he didn't worry about referees, didn't get caught up in the emotions of what was happening. He was always under control."
Boults the tank
Pascal Dupuis said he enjoys playing Montreal, especially around the holidays when he knows a lot of his friends and family in Quebec would be watching.
He joked that if he scored a goal, maybe he should celebrate like Eric Boulton celebrated his against Ottawa. Dupuis said Boulton's celebration reminded him of Will Ferrell's character in "Old School."
"Frank the Tank. I don't know what [Boulton] did; he doesn't know what he did," Dupuis said. "But it looked like Frank the Tank."
