Falcons stick to defense, add DE Sibury in 4th round

Flowery Branch — Lawrence Sidbury, a defensive end from the University of Richmond, was selected by the Falcons in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL draft on Sunday.

Sidbury, 6-foot-2 and 266 pounds, also runs the 100-meter dash on Richmond’s track team. He also throws the shot put.

Sidbury posted the fastest 40-yard dash time (4.5 seconds) at the scouting combine in the group of defensive lineman.
