Rashad Evans landed a huge overhand right hand knocking out former light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell with 1:51 left in the second round in the main event at UFC 88 at Philips Arena Saturday night.

It was a purely stand-up fight, neither man attempting to take down the other. And it was Evans knocking out the knockout artist (14 of Liddell’s 21 victories were by knockout). Evans remains unbeaten (17-0-1) while Liddell now has lost three of his last four fights.
