Casey, Flesch, Poulter, Snedeker all find themselves with a shot

Augusta — A year ago Zach Johnson, a little-known pro ranked No. 56 in the world, held off the best players in golf to win The Masters. Who are the dark horses for this weekend's final two rounds? Here are four to watch:
|
• Paul Casey (-4): The 30-year-old Englishman finished in a tie for sixth in his first Masters in 2004 and finished in a tie for 10th last year. He's due for a good weekend. In his past three tournaments he has finished no better than a tie for 42nd. He has won six times on the European Tour, the latest in the 2007 Dubai Championship.
• Steve Flesch (-5): Like Johnson, Flesch, 40, is a relatively short hitter, so he has to play the par-5s well. Flesch was 5-under par on the par-5s Friday and is 6 under over two days. He has won four times on the PGA Tour, including two wins in 2007.
• Ian Poulter (-5): Poulter, 32, made a hole-in-one on 16 in the first round, which he said was the best ball-striking round he has ever played in his four trips to Augusta. He finished 13th in last year's Masters. Poulter has not won on the PGA Tour but has seven victories on the European Tour.
• Brandt Snedeker (-7): The former Vanderbilt star, 27, birdied 17 and 18 on Friday to put him only one shot out of the lead. He has won once on the PGA Tour, the Wyndham Championship in 2007. He has made the cut in nine of 10 tournaments this season and has three top-10 finishes.
