Hawks’ Johnson scoreless in All-Star Game

Phoenix — It was a rough go for Joe.

Hawks guard Joe Johnson failed to score in 22 minutes on the court in Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game.

The West, led by co-MVPs Kobe Bryant (27 points) and Shaquille O’Neal (17 points), beat the East 146-119.

Johnson went 0-for-4 from the field and also had five turnovers.

Amare Stoudemire, rumored to be traded in the next few days by Phoenix, added 19 points in what might be his final game as a member of the Suns.

LeBron James scored 20 for the East. Paul Pierce and Dwyane Wade added 18 apiece.

The Hawks resume their season Tuesday night in Los Angeles against Bryant and the Lakers.
