Fans can watch new Falcons during mini-camp

The Falcons 2009 draft class and offseason pickups will make their first appearance with the team during a mandatory mini-camp that will run Friday through Sunday at the team’s facilities in Flowery Branch.

The Falcons will have two practices on Friday and Saturday and one on Mother’s day.

Both sessions on Saturday are open to the public. The first practice on Saturday starts at 10:30 a.m. with the gates opening at 9:30 a.m. The second practice starts at 4:15 p.m. with the gates opening at 3:15 p.m.

Saturday’s open practices will be the first time that fans can see key new players tight end Tony Gonzalez and linebacker Michael Peterson in Falcons uniforms.
