The Falcons announced Tuesday afternoon that their game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday at the Georgia Dome is a sellout.
With the sellout, the Falcons (3-2) avoided a TV blackout. NFL rules require that a game must be sold out 72 hours before kickoff or it cannot be televised locally.
The Falcons’ two previous home games went down to the wire on ticket sales, but each time a blackout was averted.
Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday.
The Falcons are coming off their first road victory of the season. They defeated Green Bay 27-24 on Sunday.
