Flowery Branch — Falcons left tackle Sam Baker and safety Lawyer Milloy returned to practice on Thursday.
“It was nice to see number 72 and number 36 back out there practicing,” Falcons coach Mike Smith said. “These guys are recovering from their injuries and we were able to work them on a limited basis. That was a positive for our group.”
Milloy took a knee to his rib cage against Carolina and missed Wednesday’s practice. Baker missed the last game with an illness after suffering a concussion against Tampa Bay game. They could be ready for Sunday’s game against Green Bay.
Milloy missed a few plays against the Panthers, but came back to finish the game.
After coming out of the Tampa Bay game, the following week Baker did not finish the Kansas City game and did not play last week against Carolina.
Smith has to list their prospective availability for Green Bay, per league rules, on Friday’s injury report.
“We will not be able to project that,” said Smith, when asked if Milloy and Baker would play against Green Bay. “We will have to do that tomorrow.”
Wide receiver Laurent Robinson (strained left knee) and defensive tackle Jason Jefferson (ankle) did not participate in practice.
