Flowery Branch — Falcons rookie left tackle Sam Baker did not practice on Thursday and is not sure if he’ll be cleared to play on Sunday against Carolina.

Baker suffered a concussion against Tampa Bay and did not return to action against Kansas City after halftime with what the team described as flu-like symptoms, including nausea and dizziness.

“I feel better right now,” Baker said.

When asked how did the injury feel, Baker said, “Not a feeling of well-being.”

Baker said he wants to play against the Panthers.

“I’m just listening to the doctors and doing what they say,” Baker said. “I just took a bunch of tests.”

He asked if he took two sets of concussions tests, after each game, Baker said, “Yes.”

Baker is listed on the team’s injury report with an “illness.”
