Flowery Branch — Falcons starting center Todd McClure felt a twinge in his lower back while warming up for this morning's training camp practice and left the field in a golf cart.
"I think it was really just more precautionary than anything," Falcons coach Mike Smith said.

Backups Alex Stepanovich and Bruce Wilkerson finished the practice at center. McClure has started 118 of 120 games at center, including a streak of 96 straight games.
"Todd has been in a lot of these camps," Smith said. "He knows what the pacing is. He knows his body. It was more preventative then anything."
Also, defensive end Willie Evans left practice with an ankle injury.
Cornerback Von Hutchins, who suffered a foot sprain on Saturday, was in Charlotte to see a foot specialist.
Defensive end Jamaal Anderson, who's missed the last two practices with a hamstring injury, said he hopes to return to practice tomorrow morning.
