Falcons players declined to respond to comments made by former coach Bobby Petrino, in particular one in which he likened coaching the team last season to a movie titled: "Misery."

Players said they are trying to move away from the 2007 season, which was filled with on- and off-field turmoil, including Petrino's resignation with three games remaining in the season. Petrino is now the head coach at the University of Arkansas.
