Falcons sign former Tech safety
Lewis among three who made team through mini-camp

The Falcons released two players Monday and signed three tryout players from the team's May 10-12 minicamp.

Linebacker Earl Everett and safety Nick Turnbull were cut. Wide receiver Tony Gonzalez and safeties Eric Brock and Jamal Lewis were signed.

Gonzalez played at Boston College, Brock at Auburn and Lewis at Georgia Tech.

Everett spent 12 weeks on the practice squad last season, and Turnbull was signed April 29 after two previous times on the Falcons' roster.
