Braves’ Jurrjens third in NL Rookie voting

Braves pitcher Jair Jurrjens finished third in voting for the National League Rookie of the Year.
In voting released Monday, Jurrjens finished with 34 points — six second-place votes and 16 third-place votes.
Chicago catcher Geovany Soto ran away with the award, getting 31 of the 32 first-place votes, to finish with 158 points.
Jurrjens, 22, led the Braves in wins this season, going 13-10 with a 3.68 ERA. In 188.1 innings, also the team lead, the right-hander struck out 139 and walked 70.
