• Worth noting: Florida beat Philadelphia in 11 innings Sunday to complete a 2-1 home series win, coming off road series wins at San Diego and Los Angeles before the break. The Marlins have hit 15 homers during their 8-3 run. ... Florida All-Star 2B Dan Uggla is 12-for-30 (.400) with six extra-base hits (two homers) and five RBIs in seven games against the Braves this season. ... The Braves have won 12 of their past 18 against the Marlins, including five of nine this season.
• Who's hot: OF Cody Ross is 31-for-81 (.383) with 12 extra-base hits and 20 RBIs in his past 20 games. He hit his 16th homer Sunday, off Cole Hamels. ... 3B/1B Jorge Cantu is 23-for-55 (.418) with four homers and 11 RBIs in his past 14 games. ... SS Hanley Ramirez has hit .342 with eight homers in his past 29 games.
• Tonight's pitching matchup: Campillo is 2-4 with a 4.12 ERA in his past six starts, and the Braves scored one or no runs while he was in four of those. He won his last start July 13 at San Diego, where he gave up two runs in six innings of a 12-3 rout in the last game before the All-Star break. Campillo has a 1.80 ERA in 12 road games (four starts). He got no decision in his only start against the Marlins on June 3, when he gave up four runs and six hits, including three runs on a pair of Uggla homers. Uggla is 3-for-4 with three RBIs against him, while all other active Marlins have a combined total of three hits and one RBI in 26 at-bats against Campillo. ... Promising rookie Volstad will make his third major-league appearance and second start, after coming within one out of a complete game in a win at Dodger Stadium on July 11. He was charged with five hits, one run and one walk with six strikeouts in that game, after pitching two scoreless relief innings in his July 6 debut at Colorado. The right-hander has a .194 opponents' average (7-for-36) and only one extra-base hit (double) allowed.
