Cincinnati — Braves top prospect Jordan Schafer returned to Class AA Mississippi on Friday, the day his 50-game suspension for the use of HGH expired. He is eligible to play Saturday night against Birmingham, but the Braves want him to take a couple of days to get acclimated to being back.
"It'll give him two days to get back in the groove, and then get him in the lineup Monday," said director of player development Kurt Kemp.

Schafer has been keeping in shape playing in extended spring training games at the Braves complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
