Jackets enter the polls

Georgia Tech cracked the Top 25 polls for the first time this season after winning at Clemson, 21-17.

The Jackets also catapulted into the first BCS standings, entering at No. 18.

Coach Paul Johnson has guided the Jackets to a 3-1 record in the ACC Coastal Division and 6-1 overall.

Did you expect early success from coach Johnson? Or has this ranking come too late in the season?

Bulldogs in BCS hunt, or are they?

The Georgia Bulldogs debuted in the No. 7 spot in the season’s first BCS rankings.

With LSU and Florida in the weeks ahead, what will the Bulldogs have to do to cement themselves back in the national title picture? Or are they too far out to consider themselves contenders?
