Is Singletary ‘the right fit’?

Hall of Fame linebacker and San Francisco 49ers assistant coach Mike Singletary has expressed an interest in the Falcons head coaching job.

He interviewed with the Falcons for the job that eventually went to Bobby Petrino, who quit on the team this season after 13 games. He was also a candidate for vacancies in Dallas and San Diego last season.

Singletary told the AJC he didn’t, “just want any coaching job … It has to be the right fit.”

Is he the right fit for the Falcons?
