Norwood will be a big play threat. Good job moving him into the number 2 role. I expect more from Roddy White. Stepup and be the number one guy or take a backseat to Leslie. Defense played much better in the first half, not sure what happen just before the half. Was that a prevent defense playing too soft? Look at the coach to fix that. The passing game must get better to keep defenses honest. They need to start the second half and pass only to get into some kind of groove. We know you can run it, work on passing it. It’s the preseason!

Hey, morons, Vick looked terrible tonight, didn’t he?

I mean he consitantly didn’t check down, and he didn’t stand in there and take the hit to find Jenkins, his third option.

And Matt Fraud looked so good didn’t he? I mean, he was always on target, and didn’t overthrow various targets, right?

Oh that’s right, Vick looked great, and Matt Fraud looked like a back up QB, a not quite ready for prime time player.

I guess to be positive you could say that Vick had a balanced attack —- he ran for about as much as he passed —- which wasn’t much. I’m telling you —- this dawg don’t hunt. These were the Titans —- there has to be concern as 9/10/06 looms ahead. Norwood was impressive. That boy’s got game.

How did the DL look against the run? I’ve only seen the stats (which look good). Rossum got an INT? Will wonders never cease…

Before people start bashing quarterbacks. Vick’s stats for the preseason thus far

FACT

Att Comp Yds Comp% TD TD% 25 15 133 60% 3 12%

INT INT% 1 4%

Last week’s rating was 87.3; It will go up this week because there were not INTs and he had a TD.

OPINION Spreading the ball around to multiple receivers with a 90+ rating with a completion percentage of 60% is what you look for out of a QB in this system with this rushing attack.s

There is no reason people should be bashing a QB, unless it is the inconsistent play of the backups. Let’s all just see how the season goes, but right now there are bigger worries elsewhere.
