Duke, Louisville on the rise
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
After reading Tony’s Saturday take on the NCAA tourney field, offer your thoughts:
MOVING UP
• Duke (21-7, RPI 10): The Blue Devils have moved up to a No. 3 seed with a three-game winning streak.
• Louisville (19-8, RPI 47): Two weeks ago the Cardinals were off the board and now Rick Pitino’s team is a No. 5 seed after four straight wins.
MOVING DOWN
• Clemson (18-10, RPI 44): The Tigers’ loss at Boston College Saturday could drop them all the way out.
• Oklahoma State: Loss at Texas Tech Saturday could make it the odd man out in the Big 12.
KEEP AN EYE ON
• Ole Miss (18-9, RPI 56): We want to put the Rebels in the Dance but they just CAN’T lose at South Carolina (13-13, RPI 89) today.
• Purdue (17-10, RPI 49) is still in the field as a No. 12 seed but that will change if the Boilermakers lose at Northwestern today.
