Tide rolls out, Mountaineers seal deal

After a wild Saturday nobody dropped out but there was movement in the Top 65:

—Alabama (18-6 RPI 31) drops after losing another road game to Ole Miss and now has games with Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee.

—Arkansas (15-8. RPI 33) which lost at LSU, is still in but the Hogs can’t afford to stumble down the stretch.

—West Virginia (18-6, RPI 36) all but secures its spot in the field with a home win over UCLA. UCLA drops to No. 5 and Texas A&M moves up.

—We were ready to give Virginia some love until they got waxed at Virginia Tech.

—Illinois (18-9, RPI 38) is still in despite a loss at Indiana, but also keep an eye on Purdue (16-9, RPI 40). The Boilermakers took Ohio State to the final minute before losing 63-56.

Alabama keeps on stinkin it up and Georgia keeps looking impressive. Look for the Dawgs to ride that bubble into a bid. Hopefully the committee will consider how we got robbed in Tuscaloser.

Dawgs will have to win at least 3 more reg. season games and 2 SEC Tourney games to get in. Go Dawgs

Face it boys-Dawgs suck! With Mercer now down its really over. Go ahead and get ready for ANOTHER rebuilding year. Maybe the techies have a shot…

The Dawgs are arguably playing better than Alabama, but the roughing up that the Dawgs took from the refs in Tuscaloosa is looming very large in the Dawgs’ chances for an NCAA bid. The Dawgs probably need to win at least 3, probably 4, of their remaining 5 SEC games to be assured of a bid. (The likley win in the Kennesaw State game won’t help.) If they only win 3 of 5, they will probably need to get 2 SEC tournament wins. The Dawgs are a respectable 6-5 in SEC play, but their overal 14-9 record is hurting them.

Dawgs? Who cares about the Dawgs? Tech will make it in riding the momentum of today’s crushing of Connecticut.

The ACC is the best conference from top to bottom, no question about it.

Where’s Ole Miss? We thumped Tennessee & just beat Bama. After we beat LSU then you’ll pick us for the NIT?

Regardless of what happens this year, watch for UGA to be National Champions in Football and National Champions in Basketball in 2008-2009!!

Move over GayTurds (sorry, my sinuses are acting up).

football and basketball champions! haha you won’t be able to get by florida in football and basketball. Keep dreaming ugay fans and one day maybe you will open your eyes and see that you will never go undefeated in football ever and are always going to have a second rate basketball team.

It’s pathetic when GT fans have to include Florida when talking smack to UGA fans. When was the last time GT beat UGA in football without using ineligible players? Hewitt is terrible. He gets all of those blue-chip freshmen every year, but he continues to lose.

Is it true that Hewitt is trying to schedule all games at Home? When will he ever win ONE AWAY game? That is pitiful. I don’t want to hear that it is the ACC…You don’t hear other coaches complaining about being in the ACC. Win just ONE AWAY GAME!!

I thought “duff” was an idiot until I read D’Marcus Jefferson. For duff, if looking great is losing to tenn, vandy, and fla before beating a sorry scaro team, then you are insane. For DJ, you can’t beat the gators in football and most of your bball team will be gone by 08-09 due to they will have played all 4 years by then. Also, “gt stinks” is an inbred stupid redneck. Go do your research and search for Jan Kemp who busted your entire program for putting all athletes in developmental studies and leaving them there forever. You are nothing but a pool-room follower that is unable to admit your team is in trouble in bball. Tech may have not beaten Ugag in 6 years in football, but 2-15 against the gators you have no place to talk.
