Ryan Ayers is a Georgia Tech lock. The only way he’d go to Georgia was if Preacher coach said some really good prayers and God answered. Georgia Tech L-O-C-K.

Not if they can get him down to Gainesville for a visit! Georgia has some outstanding talent this year including Floridas #1 target in the state (if not overall) Mack Brown. They love speed and this kid has it.

Just imagine, you will get embarrassed in all your biggest games every year because Urban Meyer and Paul Johnson have forgotten more than I will ever know about football. Mark Richt is a wonderful person and a great football coach. I heard him say, “I am employed by the University of Georgia, buy I work for God.” He is doing a great job for both. Ryan Ayers sound like a player UGA could like to have. Go Dawgs.

Reasons to come to Georgia Tech and play football 1. Easy access to campus just off I-75 in “beautiful” downtown Atlanta. 2. On a clear day you can smell the urine. 3. If your weed or heroine dealer on the team is out it’s easy walking distance to find another. 4. Enjoy stepping over the homeless and dodging panhandlers on your way to class. 5. Georgia Tech, where the boys are boys and the girls are…..boys. 6. You will get to sit in a class full of those nerdy, pimply, snot-nosed, booger eaters you tried to avoid in high school. 7. If you own your own car or have had one provided for you then you will enjoy those scenic 45 minute drives to the convenience store two blocks away. 8. You can play for the greatest coach in the history of this or any other planet and play in an offensive system guaranteed to get you into the NFL and if that’s not enough for you if you are lucky enough to be a member of that “special team” that beats that other “redneck” school once a decade, we’ll have a very special ring made for you to commemorate the occasion.

Buck Spray, You have to understand, that if you only get to celebrate once a decade, you have to get it out of your system as often as you can. That chance to do it again may not come for many more years. So, give techies a little slack and understanding. They talk how Dawg fans like to brag about their team. How they have an inflated view for the season. How they always say next year is the year, but now they are doing the same thing as “those Dawg fans” and they only had a 9 win season. Imagine what they would say if they average 10 wins for 8yrs running?

I am not talking about your 7 game streak over us that ended this year..or our 4 game streak over you in the late 90’s…or our 8 game streak over you back when they probably wore leather helmets. That opens up the door for all the OTHER arguements…’we have more national championships’…’you own the overall series record’..’we have a more recent title’..’we split with colorado’…blah, blah, blah..

No one is attacking Mark Richt for being Christian. He is a good guy no doubt. People, GT and UGA people, are tired of him using Jesus as a recruiting tool. Any good Christian will tell you that he has gotten a little to “Holy” in the living room over the years.

Especially for someone who has such rampant misconduct in his program. If he ran a tighter ship it may be a little more plausible of a ploy.

Ben - How is Speaking proudly of ones faith a recruiting tool? I dissagree with you. CMR speaks of his faith and walk with the Lord outside the Football arena as well. Still, there is no reason to blast the man’s Believes. Yes, I’m a Bulldog Alumnus, but if the coaches roles were reversed I WOULD say the same about CPJ.

That said, while I certainly echo your sentiment about the classlessness of bashing CMR for his faith I would be careful aligning yourself with ignorant zealots like Stan from Centerville who claim “everything about tech is an embarrassment to this country”…I guess Stan discounts GT’s contributions over the years to our national defense program. Judging from the fact that he lives in Centerville and his comments I would say that Stan probably just discovered the internet, or at least came to the conlusion that that crazy keyboard and “TV lookin thang” will not steal his soal and is just lashing out to be heard because he has never really had a voice in life. Just a guess. No offense Stan if I am wrong.

Your comments reminded me of a special I saw the other night on the unabomber. He was all holed up in his cabin mad at the world. Stan- don’t buy any pipes or nails! PLEASE!!!!

You have to be a Tech fan since you don’t understand the meaning of the word “streak” when used to define a period of winning or losing.

A “winning/losing streak” can only be called a “streak” when referencing the series or consecutive wins, or losses, a team or individual accumulates. Therefore, meaning it has to exceed the number 1, genius.

To All Above: the real case will not develope next Feb on signing day, but next Nov., when the result will be same as last Nov. GT wins, UGA loses. That is my opinion, but we will not know who wins the game until after the game is played. GT will know if they win, but UGA players won’t know who won or lost until CMR tells them.
