Buford DT Kolton Houston doesn’t have to follow dad’s footsteps to UGA

With nearly 15 offers including Georgia Tech, Buford defensive tackle Kolton Houston said he is not upset Georgia has not come around.

Houston’s father, Shane Houston, played two years for the Bulldogs in the late 80’s.

“If they offer I will keep them in the loop, but if they don’t it isn’t going to ruin my day if you know what I mean,” he said. “I don’t have to follow my dad.”

The 6-foot-5, 248-pound is off to Auburn this weekend for their Junior Day. He is expecting an offer during his visit. “Auburn has been wanting me to come out for a while with just me and my family with no other recruits,” he said.

If you sign with the WarEagles you’ll be playing for a team that will never be bama nor will they defeat the pathetic state of my beloved DAWGS. We may not be able to win any game of significance under Richt but we’ll definitely dominate AU!

Dawgman: UGA has won more significant games thn you think.

Look at records, don’t base opinions on what someone writes on a blog.

One has to wonder when georgia is going to get a commitment, with so many ,even this former dawg father, looking out of state.

it appears that our coaches have spend so much time with the previous class, that we might be behind with many of georgia’s top players.

i did hear that many of our better players are having score and grade problems. we might be having to look out of state.
