Douglass defensive tackle Garrison Smith, who has been offered by both Georgia and Georgia Tech, has picked up an offer from Ohio State.
The 6-foot-3, 250-pound junior, whose brother Greg plays at Georgia Tech, said “the [offer] papers are being mailed to my house,” in a text message sent Wednesday night.
The latest offer ups his list to 17 schools, including from most of the SEC and several ACC programs.
Smith also is expecting offers from Oklahoma, USC and Miami.

Usually rings go out for championships….don’t they? I haven’t heard about this. Did GT receive a ring for winning a regular season game?

Now now atown….the RINGS were in honor or their “FANTASTIC” season…they won 9 games!!!! They finished SECOND in their division of the “MIGHTY” ACC!!! They were ranked in the top 25…barely(and well below UGA of course)…but still ranked!!!
Now you understand atown…don’t you think they deserve a ring??? That ius one heck of a year for the NERDS!!!

So, what did Tech receive a ring for? A regular season win? Or having a pretty good season? I am confused, and this is the first I have heard of this.

They got the rings for turning around a once proud program and helping law enforcement to expose yet another vice on the uga program. The drug problem that the uga defense had….they drug them up and down the field all day long.
Last time I checked the record this year is Tech 3 and uga 0. Football, Men’s Hoops & Women’s Hoops. Baseball is next and your dream season is long gone.
Even though the sanford stadium scoreboards were turned off immediately as the clock hit 0:00 the score still goes down 45-42. You lost and will again this year. Count on it.

Well it looks like Ga Tech is marked off of Garrison’s list.
The AJC is reporting today that his brother Greg Smith has left the Tech program and is transferring.
Sorry Techies but yall are done here.
