Recruiting services bullish on Georgia’s 2010 class

The state of Georgia’s 2010 high school football class is well represented in three national recruiting services.

Warner Robins defensive tackle Jeffrey Whitaker, Brookstone tight end Brian Vogler, Henry County wide receiver Markeith Ambles and Newnan safety Alec Ogeltree lead the way by being included in Scout.com’s top 100, Rivals.com’s top 250 and under consideration to be part of ESPN’s 150.

Meanwhile, South Paulding cornerback Ryan Ayers, Jefferson County cornerback B.J. Bostic, Martin Luther King running back Mack Brown, Washington wideout Antonio Goodwin, North Gwinnett offensive tackle JaWuan James, Loganville running back Storm Johnson, Northview defensive tackle Denzell McCoy, Gainesville wide receiver Tai-Ler Jones and Heritage cornerback Garry Peters are in two of those services.

Ummm..come on people, surely you aren’t as stupid as your comments you just left. Where in this article did it say anything about UGA’s 2010 recruiting class? It clearly is talking about the 2010 Seniors who playing football in the STATE of Georgia and how they are ranked among the recruiting sites. Learn to read idiots!

Hey Reality Yech - HOW BOUT THEM JACKETS!!!!!!

You are correct - pretty embarrassing to have your 4 and 5 star recruits get outplayed, out hussled, and out coached by a bunch of 2 star recruits!!!!

As CPJ continues to build the program with recruits better suited for his system - the team will be consistently top 20 and continue to attract in state players.

Georgia Tech Football is in very good shape moving forward!!

GO JACKETS!!!!!

Yeah, Dog Doctor, almost as silent as all those UGA fans were when they were filing out of Sanford Stadium with that 45-42 score posted on the scoreboard over their heads.

Georgia Tech ? Do they have something to say here? Let’s see - TECH - TWO, 10 win seasons in the last FIFTY years????? UGA - SIX TEN WIN SEASONS IN THE LAST SEVEN????? One win against UGA this DECADE so far? And your point is????

Beating UGA is SO IMPORTANT to them (and so rare) that when it happens they have rings made to archive the event because they know it may never happen again in their lifetimes? LOL You Tech boys -such a funny lot.

Screw the recruiting classes. It’s all about player development and scheme. Georgia obviously has what would be considerded good players, but my deal is that I think these players are not being developed properly. Stafford should have been a better qb and the list goes on and on. Cox has the tools to be better, but will he?

Let the techies relish, they haven’t had anything to brag about in the last 10 years. They had to win sooner or later to make it a rivalry again! Next year our guys will actually look at it as a game

to dawgfan1911~ “Georgia obviously has what would be considerded good players, but my deal is that I think these players are not being developed properly. Stafford should have been a better qb and the list goes on and on.”

Agreed, Georgia has good and great players!

However you fail to realize that some kids don’t pan out, every school in America misses on some kids. Stafford has all the tools and can make all the throws, however that gets him in trouble because he thinks he is invincible and made bone head mistakes. Just curious, I would like to know who you think “the list goes on and on” shuold have been better than they were. How about David Pollack being a 3 star FB and turning into a 3 time All-American at DE. It surely wasn’t your coaching that produced those results. My point is the kids have to work just as hard as the coaches if they want to get better. Fred Gibson, Brandon Miller, and some others were too freakin lazy and wanted everything handed to them, whereas guys like Tim Jennings, Reggie Brown, DJ Shockley, David Greene, Jeff Owens, Greg Blue, David Pollack, Thomas Brown, Brannan Southerland, Ken Veal, and other great dawgs worked there tails off to get better and be the best they could!

6 ten win seasons in the last seven years! Don’t forget where we were in the 90’s, 4-5-6 win seasons.

You don’t like the way coaches are coaching, then why don’t you go volunteer your time to teach them how it should be done or better yet find a different team to cheer for.

Go Dawgs!

Once again to the Tech nerds…… Georgia ownes you and your season means nothing without Georgia on your schedule. The rest of your season means nothing…. see Gardner Web and LSU, no ACC titles, no BCS bowls, no top 10 rankings, no 10 win seasons. You save everything for the UGA game because beating Georgia is the only thing that gives a Tech nerd any sense of self worth. Congratulations on your 45 to 42 win. Live on that as long as you can. I I doubt we will sleep walk through the second half next year. Maybe if you shrink your stadium to 225,000 seats you can fill it up.

Unfortunately, I agree with Reality Yech

I bleed for my ‘dawgs, and my heart goes out to CMR and staff.

But the time has come.

Like an old ‘coon dog that has seen his better day, we’re saddened by the news of his passing.

CMR and staff only have a few grains of sand left in the ol’ hourglass

NOT Yet Love the loooser talk, especially since it follows the talk of a national championship, heisman, black out, graduation rate numbers, rap sheet and oh only one didn’t qualify. Now tell me about the short bus again from your personal view point.

There is no denying it that Richt has relaxed at his job. He’s not providing the leadership that Meyer is providing nor several other SEC Coaches. He has a good ten win program that he can win on talent alone. But the other games he will lose because he will be out coached and out prepared. He just doesn’t work as hard as Meyer and doesn’t push his team as hard. He has gotten Lazy except when it comes to Contract time. Then him and his Coaches refer to Meyer and say Me too, Me Too, Me Too! Some of you guys on here are in denial! Wake up and smell the coffee and get ready for the Gators to spank our a* and Richts again next year. I bet at the next SEC meeting of Coaches Richt will walk right over and kiss Meyers a* as usual. Meyer has to be laughing his a* off and saying to himself, “where’s his backbone, he’s like a whipped dog that comes to you with his head down while you beat him some more”. I have to call like I see it!!

Here is a funny tidbit that is not related to this blog….like most of the comments on it. I have a pic of an autographed Yellowjackets football helmet by coach Paul Johnson where “Jackets” is spelled incorrectly.
