The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

South Paulding cornerback Ryan Ayers, who some recruiters call “the state’s fastest player,” picked up three significant offers in the past week, according to his coach.
Coach Tim Glanton said that Auburn defensive coordinator Ted Roof called Friday to with an offer, followed by Florida running backs coach Kenny Carter on Monday and Maryland offensive line coach Tom Brattan on Tuesday.
Glanton said Maryland expressed interest in Ayers as a wide receiver.
Ayers, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound junior has other offers from Georgia Tech, UGA, Arkansas, Duke, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Vanderbilt. Ayers has been clocked in the 40-yard dash at 4.31 seconds.

Ryan, concentrate on your studies, the world will then become your oyster. Best of luck where ever you end up.

I would say with all the powerhouse colleges offering scholarships he will definitely end up at a big time program like Georgia Tech……..HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Why Tech? I don’t know maybe with an offense that can offer up to 3 offensive backs at any time…or maybe because it ran up and down the field on soooo much better teams such as UGA of course. Or maybe the fact that Dwyer had 144 yards of rushing compared to THE GREAT MORENO’s 94….I don’t know maybe I am just seeing things…

randy. Ha what a redneck name. Go back to your trailer. I love how one win in Richt’s career (FSU and UGA!) somehow makes Tech a powerhouse. A Powerhouse does not drop in attendance. Did we forget the way your season ended? Why are you so hopeful for this year? Your defense will not be better and LSU showed the world that your offense is from the 1940s. Assignment football eats up that armed forces offense. Good luck buddy.

Chris:
You talk about one win agianst UGAG and FSU. This was Paul Johnson’s first year at Tech. In his first year he was able to beat a FSU team we haven’t beat since the 70’s and a UGAG team that we had lost to 7 times in a row. This in his first year with players that did not fit his offense. You can hang your hat on the LSU game if you want to, but UGAG will see the 5th game in 09’ that LSU is not the team that lost 5 games in 08’. In 09’ you have one week to prepare for TECH, LSU had 5-6 weeks. Chew on that.

Echoing Tech Fan, plus CPJ basically just taught the team running plays……..our pass blocking was way to poreous to even protect JN. Once our pass blocking gets solid, and we start dominating our Run N’ Shoot packages too!…its over.

Thanks for your insightful analysis Tech Fan. I also appreciate the class with which you conduct yourself. I know Tech and your parents are proud of you. Keep up the good work. BTW, once you move out of the home, you’ll need to get a job.

You had me fooled for a second. I thought you were going against the grain until your last comment. Yet again all UGAG fans think Tech fans are geeks that sit behind a computer. I did not attend Tech. My grandfather did and took me to games and I became a Tech fan. I am also a season ticket holder. I am not really sure why I am explaining all this to you though, your just the typical ignorant UGAG fan. I will go home today to my house on a golf course in Richmond Hill (Savannah area) look out my window at the Jerico river, maybe even get out my 23’ Sea Fox and go for a stroll around the river to the Ossabaw Sound in your honor.
Chew on that.

Yech fan,
You didn’t get the memo? You can’t be a phaggot jacket if you didn’t attend the school and get your liberal arts or business degree, LOL!!!
So Johnson beat an FSU team that is just now starting to get back to old form, and a UGA team with its worst defense in program history. Are you sure that just wasn’t a case of timing more than anything else? What will your excuse be next year when Yech will surely lose to both teams as usual? I mean, the way you douches are drawing it up it’s ACC and National Championships or bust!!! You won’t even win your pathetic side of the conference next year.
Richt won the SEC in his second year. Johnson won’t even compete in the ACC in his. Suck it!!!! BAWHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!

Realityech, guess we have to find why GT beat a UGA team with the worst defense in history. Was it because of coaching(remember where the buck stops), or was it because of all those uncoachable 5 star players? And what if GT beats FSU and UGA again next year. Better think a

RealityYeck:
I did miss that memo. The memo I did get was you give UGAG fans a bad rap. There not all like you. I know plenty.
I have been waiting to hear from you. I read most of these recruiting blogs and you are always spouting out at the mouth.
As far as the next season goes I guess you think everyone has us figured out now. You don’t have half the defense LSU had last year and they had 5-6 weeks to prepare. No team will have that amount of time to prepare for us. You will have 1 week to prepare this year. Getting back to LSU you will see they are not the 5 loss team of 08’. You will find out the 5th game of 09’ that LSU is not the same team you played in Baton Rouge.
As for the ACC VA Tech, FSU and maybe North Carolina will give us a run for our money, but unlike Johnson’s first year in the ACC he will win the ACC in his second. We get VA Tech at home and they barely beat us last year in our second game. Play that game later in the year and you would have seen a different result, just ask UGAG and Miami how that running game looked at the end of the year. FSU will have a very good team and it will be a helluva game in Tallahasee. Miami is the only other road test we face in the ACC and we have beat them 4 years in a row.
Next you will be telling me about how Colorado was the 1990 National Champions. If we played a high school or middle school schedule then what does that make the UGAG team we beat by 20? Colorado wanted no part of that Tech team in 90’. If not for that extra down Colorado would have lost to a horrible Missouri team. And no matter how you spin the win against UVA when they were #1 and did not finish strong, it was a win against the #1 team at the time. GA Tech the REAL National Champions in 1990.
As for the Nantional Championship I never mentioned once we would win the National Championship next year. Not sure where you got that from.
Chew on that PUPPY.

Maybe the 22 season ending injuries had something to do with it, you think? And don’t go handing me that bull about you haveing injuries too, you and no one else in the country lost their best lineman on each side of the ball and their best back ups too. Turn the tables and that 45-42 would have been 6:09 again. 6:09 hahahahahahahaha now that’s funny right there, I don’t care who you are. (unless it’s a techmite)

While you’re the typical clueless, uninformed, my sh*t smells like roses Yech fan. I know plenty, you’re all tools. Some to different degrees than others.
I know you’re desperate when you’re trying to say the team we beat in their own backyard (in one of the most difficult places in the country to play) is NFL worthy just because they prisonraped you a few weeks later. UNC did the same thing. Heck, we would have if we would have had any other defense that Richt has had since being at UGA. We didn’t have half the defense because we were without Jeff Owens all season long. He would have been a first round draft pick this year had he gone, even with missing the entire season.
LOL!!! In case you haven’t noticed, the fact that Yech has a manageable schedule year in and year out is not news to anyone. It just illustrates how pathetically weak Yech and the ACC are. We’re fully aware of your tough Samford, J-ville State and Gardner Webb games. While UGA has greatly improved Yech’s SOS every year, they’ve always managed to hurt ours. Johnson will never will the ACC, nor his division, before he’s fired.
Everyone knows Colorado is the real 1990 champ. No one disputes it. They played the toughest schedule in all the land while Yech played a 3-A high school schedule, not even 5-A. If Yech had Colorado’s schedule they lose at least 5 games. They played zero coference champions, while the NATIONAL CHAMPION team played 3.
Good thing you didn’t mention that, since you won’t even win your pathetic side of the ACC :)

RealityYech:
Here’s a reality check. One of the better up and coming teams in your league Ole Miss want’s no part of Tech. That’s why they dropped us from their schedule in 2010 and 2011 and are trying to play those games in 2018 and 2019.
Sounds like they know something you don’t.
There’s your REALITY CHECK.
Chew on that PUPPY.
