Woodward Academy junior DE Anderson visits Maryland
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
Woodward Academy defensive end Henry Anderson attended Junior Day at Maryland on Saturday.
“They have a really nice campus and facilities,” said the 6-foot-6, 240-pound Anderson, who has scholarship offers from Central Florida, Maryland, Oklahoma State, Stanford and Wake Forest.
Anderson attended Junior Day at Georgia Tech on Jan. 31. If an offer is forthcoming from the Jackets, it will likely arrive over the summer.
“Georgia Tech seems pretty interested,” Anderson said. “They didn’t offer me, but they said they want me to come to their summer camp and see how I do there.”
Anderson enjoyed meeting Central Florida coach George O’Leary last month.
“Coach O’Leary came to Woodward Academy about a month ago,” he said. “He was a funny guy. It was good talking to him.”
