Great to have you as a DAWG!! Also great to have you stick by your commitment and being good to your word. The next four years will see you grow into an even finer young man under the staff at UGA.
I look forward to seeing you pull down those passes!

I’m just glad we didn’t wiff on every receiver we offered. Marlon Brown is not going to pick the Dawgs and every other wideout turned UGA down. Why? Could it be the coaching staff? If Georgia had WR as a priority this year, they sure didn’t show it in their actions.
But still, I’m glad we got one solid slot receiver in this class. This guy will hopefully be our over the middle and short yardage threat, nicely complimenting Green as our main deep threat.

So - tell me - have all these prospects been through the application and admission process to these schools and been accepted as a student before they narrow it down and make a decision which football team they are going to play for - or, are they automatically enrolled in the college when they decide to join the team? My child who is not athletically inclined and still on the waiting list would like to know.

where do all these folks come from? first lets deal with the yech fans, yes you defeated the dawgs this past year but you idiot, we still scored 42 points. yes it is a win for you but a great dominating win, forget it. now as for automatically enrolled, my goodness, if they are not enrolled, they cannot participate in athletics, so yes, if we want them and they sign they are automatically enrolled. think these “questions” through prior to posting !!!!!

Charlotte Dawg
Welcome aboard Rantavious, glad you chose the Dawgs.
In case you hadn’t noticed Charlotte, Brown did sign with us. Besides WR was not a position of concern only that when a few additional scholarships opened up Richt decided we could always use a few more game breakers on O.
Go Dawgs

Welcome aboard Mr. Wooten!
Actually players who sign a letter of intent for an athletic scholarship are NOT automatically enrolled. Athletes have to meet benchmarks for GPA and for SAT/ACT scores in order to qualify. If these marks are not met, then the player can not enroll at the college/university and does not receive the scholarship money for that year. That athlete will instead have to go to a prep school or to Junior College in order to qualify. It is much easier to get into any school as a transfer from prep school, JC or another university. After the athlete has covered their responsibility for admission, they then have the choice to either sign with the school they wanted to or to choose another one.

Rantavious, we’re happy you’re here. And I promise you that you will be happy here also. I see you as a player with Percy Harvin speed and moves. You will love this wide open offense and get plenty of chances to shine.
