Buford: Lee highlights class of seven

Buford may not have had the star power it did last year with a handful of high-profile recruits, but seven Wolves signed scholarships on Wednesday, including defensive lineman Dallas Lee, who signed with Georgia.
Buford coach Jess Simpson said the seven signees were part of senior class that was strong academically and athletically. Half of the team’s 26 seniors carried a G.P.A. of at least 3.4, he said. Running back Cody Getz and tight end Devin Durden signed with the Air Force Academy and defensive end Andrew Sachais and free safety Jeffery Gazaway signed with Georgetown.
“To have four kids going to schools like Georgetown and Air Force speaks volumes about the work they’ve done in the classroom,” Simpson said. “They’ve put themselves in position to have great academic careers at the next place and play some good football as well.”
Offensive lineman Blake Bennett (Wofford) and defensive tackle Trevor Warbington (Brevard) also signed scholarships.

Funny how the coach didn’t include Dallas in the list of academic kids going to a good academic institution. Maybe when he graduates UGA he can go to work for one of his other football buddies that will actually have good jobs when they graduate.

Dallas actually is already at UGA and took all Honors or AP classes also in HS. He too has a high GPA and will do quite well at GA……..unlike those GT players that rarely can pull their required 2.0 GPA
