Mike Gilliard, of Valdosta High, signed with Georgia today to play linebacker. Here’s a little bit more about this new Bulldog in the recruiting Class of 2009. Welcome him to Bulldog Nation with congratulations below in our “Comments” area.
Why he likes UGA: “Get ready for excitement, Bulldog fans. I’m bringing Winnersville to Athens. Georgia was my dream school, and I love the head coach and all the assistant coaches. Tech is all right, but there’s no other place like UGA. That red and black in Athens on a Saturday … you don’t get any better than that. I hope to help Georgia win a national championship and get that defense even faster. I’ve been working hard since the end of the season, and I want to show everyone what I’ve got.”
