Tigers lock up four star recruits

Clemson wasted little time signing some of its top recruits. By 8:10 a.m., Wednesday, the Tigers had already signed Sumter (SC) running back Roderick McDowell; Rock Hill (SC) defensive back Jonathan Meeks; Spartanburg (SC) offensive lineman Brandon Thomas and Minneapolis (MN) wide receiver Bryce McNeal, according to the Clemson web site.

Meeks, a safety, could be the gem of the group, coming from the football powerhouse Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, VA.
