Quarterback Sims signs with Tech
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
David Sims, a quarterback from Calhoun City, S.C., signed with Georgia Tech.
“The first time I saw him on tape, it was like he was shot out of a cannon,’’ quarterbacks coach Bo Hannan said. “He’s an outstanding runner, and he can throw.’’
Hannan noted that Sims had more than 500 yards in total offense in a playoff game this season. Then he compared him to Tech’s starting quarterback, Josh Nesbitt. “He’s not as tall as Josh, probably 5-11, but thick and broad-shouldered,’’ Hannan said. “He’s powerful. He’s faster than Josh.’’

Great. David has a chance of being really big time with this offense.

This Holcomb guy is a hack. Guess the bad economy has the AJC cutting down their writing staff, so Holcomb must be the paper boy. Stick to getting coffee and donuts Todd.
