DEL.ICIO.USMill Creek has its largest signing class ever

Three late expected signees will boost to six the number of Hawks signing scholarships, the largest ever for the fifth year school.
Ryan Robinson (Oklahoma State) OL Jordan Johnson (Middle Tennessee) and LB James Powell (Jacksonville State) had committed months ago, but teammates OL Micah James (Savannah State), QB Ed Russ (West Georgia) and long snapper Davis Moore (Emory and Henry) also will sign in the media center this afternoon.
Last year was the first time that Mill Creek had a football player sign a scholarship offer.
“This obviously is our largest class,” coach Shannon Jarvis said. “It’s a standard we want to keep in place for years to come. We hope it’s a recurring event. We’re having to go to the media center, to a bigger venue, and that’s a good problem to have.”
