Harrison: Five move to next level; sixth player walking on at Georgia Tech

Five Harrison Hoyas signed college scholarships over breakfast, with a sixth walking away from two scholarship offers to walk on at Georgia Tech.

First-year coach David Hines, who replaced longtime coach Bruce Cobleigh, said running back Robbie Godhigh turned down Charleston Southern and Wofford to walk on with the Yellow Jackets.

Quarterback Christian Burnett (Cumberland), center Nick Jackson (Air Force), defensive end Patrick Keller (Brevard), offensive tackle Jordan Miller (Memphis) and linebacker Eric Stallworth (Shorter) signed letters of intent at an 8 a.m. ceremony on campus.

“It’s a testament to the hard work they put in,” Hines said. “I’m happy to see them move on to bigger and better things.”

I’m thrilled to have Godhigh at Tech. He’s a burner that can fit in nicely into CPJ’s system. Welcome to the Yellow Jacket family.
