Meet J.C. Lanier — Georgia Tech defensive tackle signee, Class of ‘09
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
J.C. Lanier, of Emanuel County Institute, signed with Georgia Tech today to play defensive tackle. Here’s a little bit more about this new Jacket in the recruiting Class of 2009. Welcome him to The Flats with congratulations below in our “Comments” area.
Why he likes Tech: “I was leaning toward going to another school, but when I went to Tech on a visit it felt like home. I’ve been there a few times since. I have family in Atlanta, and it feels like the right place. One thing I want to accomplish is to get a good education. I’m going to stay all four years, and I want to be a starter all four years. I’m working real hard. A lot of people don’t get these opportunities.”

young man, if education is what you want, you chose the right place. Also, try to spend a lot of time on Spelman campus. You’ll love Spelman and Clark women. Trust me!!!! And make sure to hit up Sugar Hill and Apache for some Neo-Soul spots on the weekends!
