Meet Will Jackson — Georgia Tech offensive guard signee, Class of ‘09

Will Jackson, of Farragut High (Tenn.), signed with Georgia Tech today to play offensive guard. Here’s a little bit more about this new Jacket in the recruiting Class of 2009. Welcome him to The Flats with congratulations below in our “Comments” area.

Why he likes Tech: “I like everything about Georgia Tech. I love the academics and the football tradition. Coach Paul Johnson has really sold me on the program. His record is a winner. I’m looking forward to being in Atlanta and in the middle of everything. It’s only three hours from my house, so my parents can come see me play. That’s perfect. I want to win. I didn’t want to come to a college and go .500 every year. I want to win championships, play a lot and get a good degree. And I felt that Tech is the best place to do that.”
