The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
Antonio Foster, of Valdosta High, signed with Georgia Tech today to play offensive guard. Here’s a little bit more about this new Jacket in the recruiting Class of 2009. Welcome him to The Flats with congratulations below in our “Comments” area.
Why he likes Tech: “Going to Georgia Tech will be a great opportunity for me. I have family in Atlanta and the coaches at Georgia Tech are great. I feel confident that we can win a national championship. I want to graduate and get some playing time as a true freshman. Eventually, I want to be an All-ACC player and offensive lineman of the year.”

This kid fits this offense perfectly, he’s very atheletic, runs 4.9-5.0 forty, he also plays on the basket ball team at Valdosta, so he’s quick on his feet, hail to the jackets.

Welcome Antonio and congratulations! Gotta love your confidence; I believe it, too. Great athletes like individuals excelling in any field start out with great goals and your’s are that, which is good not only for you, but also for the Jackets. Look forward to seeing you reach those goals at Tech. Again, welcome!
